End of the road for PostScript Type 1 fonts
Still using old PostScript Type 1 fonts? You need to know about this!
As previously announced, Adobe is dropping support for old PostScript Type 1 fonts. The most important deadline for many of us is that InDesign vs. 18.2 will no longer support these fonts. Specifically, PostScript fonts will no longer appear in font listing within InDesign, and any text that uses those fonts highlighted as missing fonts.
If you are still using old PostScript Type 1 fonts in your workflow, now is the time to replace them with OpenType versions.
