New script to break apart 2-page spreads
Try this free script if you produce spiral-bound documents!
James Wamser from Walsworth and an attendee and I were talking at CreativePro Week last week. They both mentioned that it would be really nice to have an InDesign script that would help automate the process of breaking 2-page spreads apart by 1/2 inch, while still leaving them as side-by-side pages on the screen. This is needed when you are creating a spiral bound publication, and you want to have a bleed in the spine area.
So when I returned to the office, I whipped up a little script for this. You can download the "Separate spreads" script here.
